Steak Frites & Sweet Potatoes

INGREDIENTS:
Beef Filet
Campari
Gin
Peppercorn
Garlic
Beef Broth
Oyster Sauce
Sweet Potato
Cream
Frying Oil
Mushrooms
Butter
1 tsp Flour
Salt
Pepper
Parsley
How To Make:
- Season the beef with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Pan-sear the beef on high heat in enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan.
- In another pan, add ½ cup cream and ½ cup garlic on medium heat.
- While the cream and beef cook, mash the sweet potatoes in another bowl.
- Add the warm cream into the sweet potato bowl and mix until evenly spread throughout.
- Add salt and pepper to the sweet potatoes and continue to mix.
- Once the steak is done, remove it from the pan.
- Add ¼ cup mushrooms to the beef pan for a more flavorful sauce.
- Add ½ teaspoon of minced garlic to the mushrooms.
- Once the garlic and mushrooms are cooked, add them to the steak plate.
- Make the sauce in the same pan as the steak and mushrooms.
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 2-3 tbsp Gin
- 2-3 tbsp Campari
- Pinch of Peppercorn
- ½ teaspoon Garlic
- ½ teaspoon Parsley
- 2 tbsp Beef Broth
- A little slurry of Flour and 2 tbsp of water
- Cut beef into strips and plate with the potato and mushrooms.
- Cover with the sauce.
- Garnish with parsley.
